Armed assailants have fatally shot an educator and seized a minimum of 25 learners in an attack on a educational institution for young women in the northwestern part of Nigeria, authorities have confirmed.

The armed faction breached the public educational institution for female students in the Maga locality within Kebbi State at roughly 4 in the morning local time on the beginning of the work week, police confirmed.
